The body is the site in which personal and collective geographies, experiences and imaginations meet and merge. It is a site in which desire and disgust, anxiety and dream materialize. Through all of these, it always produces a surplus and offers a road to something else, an extra, an elusive aesthetics that the harshness of the city and its infrastructures of decay do not offer otherwise.
